Winter 2019

  1. Beginning Acting
    This eight week session for students in grades K - 1 will meet on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 - 5:30 and will focus on beginning theater technique for beginning actors. Students will develop skills in public speaking, characterization, scene development, confidence and poise. This class will culminate with a performance!
    January 9 - February 27 $125.00
  2. Young Actors
    This eight week session for students in grades 2-5 will meet Mondays from 4:30 - 5:30 and will focus on monologue and scene work. Students will work in groups to write original scenes and use those scenes along with songs from Broadway musicals to create a performance revue.
    January 7 - February 25 $125.00
  3. Intermediate Acting
    This eight week session for students in grades 6-12 will be run on Tuesday nights from 7:00 - 8:30. Students will be introduced to acting concepts such as monologue and scene work, character and scene development, and improvisation. Each class will introduce a different scripts. Students will cold-read the scripts and then add blocking and movement. Students will learn reading fluency skills and will develop strong characterization skills as they try new characters and scenarios each week. This class will culminate with a reader's theater performance.
